Hurricane Irma Update

Midwest Direct is committed to keeping our clients informed of mail service disruptions for Hurricane Irma.

9/13/17 Update:

Our logistics coordinator continues to monitor the impact of Hurricane Irma on the Southeastern United States. One of their consolidation facilities in Decatur, GA lost power yesterday and remains closed today.  No timetable has been established for power restoration by the local power company due to the number of outages in the area. They are in the process of re-routing freight to other consolidation facilities wherever possible until the facility in Decatur is operational. All shipments currently in the Decatur, GA facility destined to Florida and any accessible weather impacted cities / states will be re-planned for pick up beginning tomorrow for Friday delivery depending on transit time.  This plan may change if power is not restored.
