At Midwest Direct we spend a lot of time talking about the marketing formula: List, Offer, Creative, and Channels. We can offer in house services with List, Offer, and Channels, but building the creative components of a campaign is outside our scope. We DO help clients and marketers understand mailpiece and online ad design, and we track the performance of their creative and content components with AB test analysis. Our clients use that information and create the artwork in house or through their own agency relationships. Today, we’ve invited Sheila Hart, principal of Shelia Hart Design, to share real insights on the long, slow, and sneaky approach to strategic design thinking.
Sheila Hart began her career at the renowned firm of Vignelli & Vignelli in New York City. Over the years, she has built a well-regarded design firm with a loyal and diverse client base. Shelia works with businesses of all sizes, scales, and budgets, both B2b and direct-to-market — most specifically with companies that may need an outsider’s perspective or may not have a design staff of their own. She creates cohesive and sophisticated branding, marketing, and promotional materials, be that through print or digital means. Sheila is a problem-solver and her goal is to help businesses grow by working with them to create smart and attractive design solutions. Sheila Hart Inc. does graphic design work around the world as well as in our hometown of Cleveland, Ohio.
